Without further ado, let’s dive in…

#𝟭 - 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆

Yes, consistency. This I think is the best tips that we all should know, whether you are doing business for a career or even your weight loss plan. To be honest, the key to success is usually how consistent you are, yes, we know that success doesn’t happen overnight or seeing any immediate result, but that doesn’t mean that’s no progress at all.

You see, I was once fat and I have decided to lose weight when I was young, but very often I gave up because I didn’t notice any immediate result that I wanted, so because of that, my weight loss wasn’t a success, not until I have started to man up and be consistent, I have my research on diet, and the type of exercises that can help me to lose weight, eventually, I did it, I have shape myself the type of weight I wanted.

Again, be consistent in weight loss, this is the best tips I have always emphasized to people, you will see the result in no time, usually, it takes time, but be patient, you will notice the result.

#𝟮 - 𝗠𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗺

Metabolism is a type of fat-burning system that helps you to burn those calories even when you are sleeping. So basically, you need to build your metabolic rate, to do that, you need to increase your metabolic rate is by building muscle, the more muscle you have, the higher your metabolic rate will be, at the same, you are burning more calories throughout the process. Try hitting the gym once in a while, or you might prefer buying some weight like a dumbbell. And also, have a balanced diet, this helps you even more.

#𝟯 - 𝗪𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱𝘀

Carbohydrates are essential to our diet, even though we notice the concern of most of us gained weight because of consuming plenty of carbs. But do you know, according to the food pyramid, carbs are the biggest chuck in the pyramid, almost 40% of what you are eating should be carbs. To be honest, whatever that eat, if you consume it excessively, it will definitely make you fat. But on the other hand, carbs actually don’t make you fat, calories do.

There are good carbs and bad carbs, bad carbs can be like pasta, cereal, chips and crackers, good carbs like quinoa, oats, buckwheat, brown rice. Most importantly, whole-grain foods contain fiber, which is good for your metabolism.

#𝟰 - 𝗔𝘃𝗼𝗶𝗱 𝗦𝘂𝗴𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱𝘀 𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗸𝘀

Sugar could be the biggest enemy, the more you consume, the more weight you gained. Here’s how sugar works in your body, it raises your blood pressure, eventually, it will be converted into insulin, that’s is where you fat storage came about, you will see it mostly on your love handles.

Next, processed foods, these processed foods included that are cooked, frozen, canned, and packaged, you will see most of these in your grocery stores. These foods that I mentioned are not healthy, and definitely your weight will shoot up if you constantly eating over and over again. You can eat it once in a while, but not too excessive. Do you know, processed foods contained complex stations of sugar, like saturated fat and poly saturated fats, these fats will slow down your metabolism, making it harder for you to burn calories.

#𝟱 - 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝘄

When you are full, stop eating. Always listen to what your body wants, not what you want. When we eat, we must eat in a smaller portion, and try to avoid to have a second serving, you will be eating when you are hungry only. Try separating your meal into 6 portions. A simple trick for you, when you are in a restaurant, bring a meal box with you when your order is placed, put half into the box, and another half to dig in.

Secondly, the way you chew the food, there’s a right way to chew the foods, experts said, the right way to chew a spoon of food is in an average of 30 seconds and doing it slowly, but normally we don’t chew that long, let’s just make it 20 seconds. Let me share with you a hack, usually, we use a spoon to eat food, why not use a fork to eat, if you scoop your food using a fork, you are limiting the portion per-consume, it’s also preferable with a chopstick as well.

#𝟲 - 𝗝𝗼𝗴𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴

Exercising is good for health and it helps us to sweat. But going for a jog works fine too, for me, when I started to my weight loss journey, my first exercise that comes to my mind was jogging. At first, I came even jog for more than 5 minutes, I will totally be exhausted, but I didn’t give up, I was persistent to my dream in losing weight, so, therefore, I tried for 5 minutes, then I scale up to 10 minutes, then I scale up even more when the time passes. Let me state you the benefits of jogging as well, so that you are more motivated to start doing it, the benefits are good for your heart and the immune system, reduce insulin resistance, cope with stress and depression, and maintain flexibility as you age.
