6 Known Facts That Everyone Should Know About Weight Loss

Hi, Mark here.

Surely, Today, I'm going to share with you the '6 Known Facts That Everyone Should Know About Weight Loss'. Surely, everyone knows the basic about weight loss, whether is from our fitness instructor or from a friend of yours, but do you know some other facts about weight loss? Some information that I’m about to give you now is for your knowledge and learning to apply it step-by-step. I think usually people might think that weight loss is all about doing more exercise and eating less or starves without any proper balance to your nutrition and your body, at the end of the day, it’s not just about weight loss, it’s also about being healthy. The following 6 known facts I’m about to give you now to know what weight loss you should know.

>>Ok, let’s dive in…

#1 - Do more exercise, eating less?

Ok, this is the first thing you need to know, doing more exercise and eating less does shade some pounds, but it will give you some poor result in terms of your health. You can do exercise, but also need to balance what you eat, one cannot be too excessive, otherwise, it will have a bad outcome. So make sure you balance your exercise and what you eat.

#2 - Calories

Eating more is ok, but eating more that has a huge amount of calories is not ok. For example, what is the difference between eating healthy grilled chicken and a fried chicken? I think you know the answer, a healthy grilled chicken has a lower calorie than a fried chicken, right? As long as you are consuming fewer calories, calories are the real deal here. Please do look for the nutritional facts that are labeled on the food products, from there you will know how much calories you are consuming.

#3 - A goal and a timetable

Everyone can set yourself a goal, whether your goal is to lose 30 or 50 pounds within a period of time. The goal marks your purpose why you even started doing it, the goal will help you determine your result. Also, you need a timetable, the reason to create a timetable so that you won’t forget and be consistent all the time, I personally prefer to download an app to keep track of your weight loss journey, and alarms you if you forget.

#4 - Food pyramid

Do you follow the food pyramid? The food pyramid is an indicator of your weight loss, usually, people eat more fats than proteins, eat more proteins than vitamins, vitamins more than carbs. 40% should be carbs (bread, pasta, cereal), 35% should be vitamins (fruits, vegetables), 20% should be proteins (meat, fish, milk, egg), and 5% should be fats (fat, oil, sugar, sweets). Some people might argue that vitamins should dominate carbs, but fats and protein have to remain in the last 2.

#5 - Consistency

Well, whatever you do, you need to be consistent, the same with weight loss. That’s why you need a goal and a timetable. Your ideal weight doesn’t happen overnight, it happens when you put up some work and effort to make that dream comes true. But some people, me myself included, lose hope because we are impatient, and the process is too difficult for us to comprehend. Well, if a person wanted to start up a weight loss plan, always start up slow and easy, because we need to cultivate a habit so that you are consistent enough to follow the next level of your weight plan. Don’t forget to reward yourself once in a while, always be good to yourself.

#6 - Metabolism

Do you know, that metabolism can help you to lose weight? Metabolism is one part of your weight loss journey. Metabolism is a very complex chemical reaction, it helps you to lose weight even when you are asleep. To easiest way to increase your metabolic rate, is by building muscle, the more muscle you have, the higher your metabolic rate will be, at the same, you are burning more calories throughout the process. Try hitting the gym once in a while, or you might prefer buying some weight like a dumbbell.
